Cover for the 2007 Livingston County Visitors Guide Unveiled
The Livingston
County Chamber of Commerce Tourism Office unveiled the cover for
the 2007 Visitors Guide for the third consecutive year at the
Livingston County Chamber of Commerce annual "Community Update
Luncheon" held at The Yard of Ale in Piffard on Friday, December
8, 2006.

cover, depicting two visitors in the process of taking a picture
of the gorge at Archery Field Overlook in Letchworth State
Park captures with remarkable detail exactly what visitors
do while on vacation: take pictures of awe-inspiring beauty.
The cover also details the notable attractions in the county
- Mt. Morris Dam, Clara Barton House, Rts. 5 and 20 the Authentic
American Road and more. The photographer for the new cover
and for many previous county guides is Adrian "Bud"
Prince of Geneseo. In addition to Prince photos, the guide
will also feature photographs from Bob Oswald and Nigel Kent. |

The successful
concept for our 2006 guide is again being utilized for the 2007
guide," notes Lisa Burns, Livingston County Tourism Director,
"We feature large, dramatic photos of attractions and views
within the county and we combine community and business advertisements
that are beautifully crafted and evoke a welcome feel."
Livingston
County's 2006 Visitors Guide, the tourism director and the graphic
designer were honored with the Bronze Award from the New York
State Office of Economic Development Tourism Division this past
September at the Governor's Tourism Conference. The award recognizes
visitors guides that most effectively promote counties as travel
destinations. The 2007 Visitors Guide has been designed again
this year by Kat Nichols of Nichols Graphic Design.
Livingston
County Tourism will produce 100,00 copies of the 2007 guide with
distribution planned to markets throughout the northeast, to over
20 travel/ trade shows, the New York State Thruway rest stops,
AAA offices and over 60,000 directly mailed by request. The guide
will be available in late February and will be distributed throughout
the county as well. Additionally, the Tourism Office will begin
a logo campaign to welcome visitors into the county and will be
distributing the new guides along with the welcome campaign information
to all local businesses.
The 2007 Livingston
County Visitors Guide will be available February 2007. To request
