FINGER LAKES: Now more than 60 wineries - 4 wine trails - Having its beginnings here in Livingston County long before the Civil War, the Finger Lakes wine industry has undergone a revolution since the mid-1970s. Exceptional scenery and an exceptional diversity of wines, including some that are wold-class, await visitors.

1. 4. Keuka Lake Wine Trail - A group of 8 wineries surrounding this exceptionally scenic, Y-shaped lake rich in wine history & fine wines. The charming village of Hammondsport is at its south end; Penn Yan is at its northernmost point. Readily accessible via the Italy Turnpike from just south of Naples. From the Canandaigua area take Rt. 247 & 364 to Penn Yan. From the south, leave the Southern Tier Expressway at Bath & take Rt. 54 to Hammondsport.
