Lecture 12 of 12: VAST GLACIERS TRANSFORM THE GENESEE VALLEY. Presenter: Richard Young. Twice in the last 50,000 years glaciers have scoured the Genesee Valley, blocking the Genesee River, forming large lakes, and burying a record of plant and animal life very different from that of today. These local events are closely linked to worldwide changes.
